Catch up, Catch up!

Another month flew by, I used to be so good at weekly blog posts.  Well some fun things have been happening and here they are!

This hasn't been the best year for Syd. She has had a tumor on her leg, another lump burst on her back, both requiring surgery and recently some major eye issues. We are still holding out hope that they are all minor and she has many years left in her. But for now we will give her lots of extra love!
This collage is from OCTOBER. I love seasons, so to me I wasn't a fan of the super warm weather, but when it was still 80 we went swimming! And of course it wouldn't be a swim session without a Popsicle from Grandma Barbara!
Fun spirit days at school lately. The school wore pink to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness. When you attend a school with uniforms, this is a big deal to the kids!

This one is really late, it is from October. Nicole was smart and did the kids party together! Brilliant. We were so happy we could be there to celebrate 2 of our favorite buddies! Ninjerella was a success. Nicole dominated every little detail!

 Happy Birthday Aubrey & Dylan!!

Gino loved his new gear. Who knew the shell could be a seat too!

Giada was excited to spend some time with her buddy Peyton
Really boys...this is the best you could give me. Cousin pic fail!
At least Cole isn't intentionally closing his eyes like Gino!

 Happy Birthday Easton!
Always exciting when we can spend time with our Australian friends the Evangelistas!

One last dinner and group pic before they headed back home.  The kids thought the timer Peter did was great. Look at those smiles!  Guess they think it's funny to see an adult run and dive into their spot as we are all counting.  I will have to try that method again soon!

Unfortunately Mike was milling and unable to join the fun, but on opening crab weekend, we went with Matt and Steph to Dillon's Beach. It was so much fun, thanks for letting us tag along Towers Family! The campsite was right on the beach, the kids loved it!

Matt and Steph's brother Justin were in charge of the crabs, I'd say it was a success!

Last but not least, random fun!

Kern Kids Birthday,Field Trip, Phillips Farms, Harvest Party, Costumes, Wedding & More!

Field trip for Giada! Teacher Jan has a walnut orchard. The kids got to head to her farm and learn how they are harvested. Giada and Maddie thought it was hilarious when they shook them out of the trees.  Some walnut painting and pumpkins- kids were thrilled.

Gino was pretty excited to go on the field trip too.
Farmer Frank took a liking to him and took on the pumpkin hunt!
Harvest Party! We lucked out again on the weather and had another successful Calivirgin harvest party. Wes Nilssen prepared amazing food once again using our oils and vinegars and Guantonios pizza never disappoints! Thanks to all who came out and helped make it a success!

Stella is eating real food now. She isn't so sure about the rice cereal just yet!

Annual trip to Phillips Farms with the fam!

I asked Giada where they were headed she says " San Diego" LONG tractor ride!  Then she wanted Nana to take the trip as well!

Cute photo ...

Until the baby spits up on you - and then the toddler freaks out - lol

Often when the kids are together I try to take a cousin pic...this is usually how it goes. Stella is perfect, until she is frightened. Giada makes silly faces, until she feels like smiling; and by the time she is ready the others are over it. Gino comes in wild and doesn't stay long!

What better outfit to wear to a Super Hero party???  Happy Birthday Dylan and Aubrey! GREAT party Nicole!!

Happy Birthday Teya. Thanks for the fun!
The kids get lots of chances to wear their costumes. Costume week at gymnastics! Gino wouldn't participate so Giada thought poking with her wand would help!

Downtown Lodi Trick or Treating!  Giada and Dylan had more fun telling us what everyone's costumes were than getting the candy.

Candy break!

Congratulations Colby!!
Difference between Gino and Giada. She has never tried to climb in the sand table! At least not at this young age!

Stella helped root on those Giants!
