Giants Game/Lou Seal, Pickles, Red's Wedding, Giada/Gino Update

We finally made it to a game as a family.  Giada has been to a couple games, wearing her Lou Seal Halloween Costume from last year and not been able to meet Lou Seal...this time we were on a mission! Surprisingly when you are looking for him he isn't around a lot! We found him in the outfield standing on the fence peeking over waiting to drive onto the field in a car.  We called his name and he looked over, then raised up his glasses and ran over to say hi to Giada. He signed a photo for her and she was so excited. The crowd around us was waving to G and clapping for her; it was cute and she was beyond pumped! Mission Accomplished! She doesn't even realize she can be something else this Halloween. She keeps saying she wants to be Lou Seal. lol  She also keeps recognizing the stadium on TV and telling us "I was just there" and also loves to hear the "Let's Go Giants" clap and clap throughout the entire game we are watching!

August means pickle time! I think we made over 80 jars this year in 2 batches...we are pickled out!

Giada is obsessed with bug collecting! KR has the best backyard finds!  Matt found her this praying mantis recently and I caught this frog - big hit. We managed to keep them alive and release them. Success for all!
Red gets hitched! Super fun 24 hours in Irvine this weekend. We headed down south for Red & Cal's wedding.  Lots of laughs with this group, lots of drinking, lots of dancing and lots of fun. Congrats Reeedddd!

Stella Jean is 2 months old! Smiles more, sticks out her tongue, and has found her hands!

Giadaisms
- "What's your name? Julie Coldani Mom?"
-"Dairy cows give us milk, nonnos cows give us meat"
"When I wish on a star, I wish to be big like Matt"  lol
- "This is a mystery we have to solve"
- Any of you that know the Hilders. Giada refers to them as "Dr Hilder and Dr Kerry!" It's awesome!
- I told her only a few minutes then we needed to leave "mom, 5 min, no 3 min, no all the minutes"
- Loves jewelry,  & dress up
- Expert bike rider; she finally got the hang of it!
        Gino
- If it can be climbed it will be! Bricks, bar stools, rocking chairs...anything. He cannot be left unattended or trusted!! And if you tell him "no" and to get down, he laughs at you. We are pretty sure he is going to be trouble.
- Eating a ton and has a good appetite, wants whatever you are eating
- Good sleeper now, all night from about 7 pm
-Talks a TON, still not too many real words
- Loves saying hi- bye to everyone - grocery stores are super fun!
-Waving, high fives
- Very ticklish
- Doesn't like things taken from him, or not being let outside etc; and certainly lets you know when he isn't happy

Aww love the updates. Too bad we aren't closer, I think Harper and Gino would get along great-similar interests and personalities:)
